Original job description

Role and Facility Information

The Department of Medicine at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking a Rheumatologist to join a collegial team of Internists and Medical Subspecialists, including two established Rheumatologists. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding practice within a supportive environment that values collaboration, high quality care, and work life balance.

RIH’s rheumatology service offers a diverse and engaging scope of practice, with a combination of inpatient consultation and outpatient case management in your own clinic. This role is ideal for a rheumatologist seeking a broad general practice with an interesting mix of cases - while still enjoying ample time to take advantage of the unparalleled lifestyle opportunities available right outside your door. You’ll experience the best of both worlds: meaningful, varied clinical work and the chance to live in a vibrant community known for its outdoor recreation and exceptional quality of life.

We are excited to welcome passionate and hardworking rheumatologists, whether experienced or newly trained, who are eager to contribute to a collaborative and thriving medical community at RIH.

Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.

Apply today to live, work, and play where others only vacation! It's better here!
