Current rates, not the old comparison column
The June 1, 2026 change sets the first two hours at $1.50 per hour and the third at $3. The page retains a comparison headed current and proposed, but its lower effective-date section confirms these became the active rates.
The three-hour maximum requires moving the vehicle before a longer stay. Minimum purchase is 12 minutes for $0.25. Sundays and statutory holidays are free, subject to other signs and restrictions.

Payment and faulty machines
Use the Parkedin app or a pay station with a credit card or coins other than pennies. The app accepts Visa and debit variants, MasterCard and debit variants, Amex, JCB and other listed methods.
Call 250-828-3409 for a faulty pay station; the reporting number operates 24 hours. Do not assume a broken machine makes all nearby parking unrestricted. Ask for instructions and read the space signage.

Accessible and veteran exemption
A valid disability parking permit or a veteran licence plate allows up to three hours free at pay-station locations. Accessible stalls are signed or marked with the accessibility symbol. This City exemption is not a verified rule for private parking.
Temporary and permanent disability placards are available through People In Motion for qualified applicants as determined by a physician. The City source links its zone maps but does not state a current placard fee.
