Enrollment and withdrawal timing
Send the completed form and a void cheque or bank preauthorized-debit form to revenue@kamloops.ca. Enrollment can start any time, but the monthly cutoff is five business days before month end; later requests start the following month.
Withdrawal is the last day of the month, moved to the next business day if it falls on a weekend or statutory holiday. Customers cannot set their own amount; it is calculated for the account and may change.

Statements and year-end balance
Read each quarterly statement for recalculated payments. The December 31 payment reconciles the account to zero and may be larger than ordinary installments. Keep adequate funds available instead of assuming every withdrawal is equal.
An outstanding utility balance at December 31 transfers to property taxes as arrears. Enrollment continues until cancelled, but more than two returned payments in a year removes the account from the plan. Returned debits have a service fee, whose amount is not stated on this page.

Changes, selling and other bank payments
Cancel or change using the City forms sent to revenue@kamloops.ca. Cancellation needs three weeks’ written notice. If selling, notify the City; the lawyer or notary handles sale adjustments.
For bank utility payments outside PAWS, use the current property’s folio without dashes, under Utilities rather than Property Taxes or Business Licence. Folios follow properties, not owners. Allow three to five business days for bank payments to reach the City.
